Say No to Big Sugar

A small network of private sugar companies has rigged the federal farm bill to secure an enormous government handout on the backs of taxpayers – all while poisoning our air and water, killing working-class jobs, violating human rights in the Caribbean, and jacking up household expenses for every American family.

This is the impact of Big Sugar: federally subsidized environmental racism and degradation. But the landscape is rapidly changing. We have a once-in-a-generation chance to undo the harm Big Sugar has caused in Florida and elsewhere.

The No Big Sugar Campaign is a grassroots effort to end the influence of Big Sugar on government policymakers and encourage elected officials to act in the best interest of their communities.
